I daresay that the only thing that could have made this special edition box even more impressive, would be if the sword was included in the box instead of just printed on it.

I think if they include multiple presentation options in one version of the game then they aught to include it in the other as well. I’m sure that there are at least a few PS4 owners that would perfectly enjoy a bit of 16-bit retro throwback on their console given the option.
It could be whatever exclusivity hold Nintendo has had over SE’s DQ franchise is up and wasn’t renegotiated. DQ Builders is a completely Sony platform exclusive, while DQ Heroes The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below was PS3, PS4, & PC until the Switch gets it’s combo release of DQ Heroes 1 & 2 later this month. …
Consoles are dead if they don’t have good exclusive games.
The weapons in the early game are shit, absolute shit. You’re better off practicing your bomb throwing - you get an unlimited amount of those and by switching between the two bombs you can throw a second one while the first one is on cooldown. When you do have a half decent weapon, try to focus on sneaking up on…
They’re not firing him. The game is already completed. JonTron, if he was set to receive compensation for his work (note they called him a Fan Contributor) he would have already received that compensation. At this point, Playtronics, is the owner of the audio files containing JonTron’s voice. If they choose to…
I never had the wolf attack Oaki during that mission, I guess it must just be random.
Loot boxes are addictive psychological weapons used to reward players with just enough anticipation and reward to keep them coming back for more. It’s the latest of many tricks employed by the gaming industry to keep players attached just like they used to use tricks to get players to plunk as many quarters as…
Whenever you start the BotW software, it asks you to select the user and has an add user option right there. Still ridiculous that they abandoned the ability to have separate save files for the same user. It’s 2017 ffs, something so commonplace shouldn’t have been overlooked.
If they’re going to bring this game over to the Switch and finally give it a proper western release, I hope they put in some effort to clean up and fix the menu/equipment/item system as it’s just down right clumsy and slow. But I won’t hold my breath since it’s most likely just going to be a Virtual Console title. …
I’ve noticed that the Switch can get rather toasty in the dock, and the one time BotW froze on me it seemed warmer than it should be.
Military spending, ie lining the pockets of defense contractors, doesn’t really amount to “being spent domestically” nearly as much as it should. It does pay for some jobs, but, there’s no reason we need to be spending 3-4x on our military budget compared to the next highest military budget in the world, or more than…
BotW is not flawless. It was released with bugs (the Blood Moon one most notably) and performance issues (framerate dips and freezes) that don’t belong in a console game.
Not sure about the Wii U version, but on the Switch I think putting the console to sleep while leaving the game open causes some of the Blood Moon weirdness. Saving the game, closing the software, and restarting it seems to clear up the bug (temporarily). I also had a glitch with amiibos not resetting from the day…
If it’s part of the “Minnesota Department of Commerce guidelines” and they refused to do it, doesn’t that mean fines or a lawsuit?
And it’s pretty much a given that games that require additional storage won’t even have a $5 discounted digital price to offset the cost of that additional storage.
2TB microSD cards aren’t going to be out for a long time, and when they finally do come out they’re going to be more expensive than the entire Switch + Accessories.
Depends on the card and the interface. A high performance UHS-II card gets read/write speeds up to 300MB/s. But, we still don’t 100% know for sure if the Switch supports UHS-II cards (because the port physically has to have additional pins) and UHS-II cards are more expensive than your garden variety microSD card.
That’s the Wii U version that has a 3GB mandatory install. I don’t see any required install notes for the physical Switch version.
