The Mick is more over the edge w blood and violence but AP Bio is also a solidly funny show. The actors playing the students are so, so good. I want to know what happened to Grace’s hamster and how she got that blood. :(

I wanted it to be a thing for each of the cast members; this great meta joke taking over comedy tv for a while. Man I wish The Mick got a 3rd season.
My understanding was that AP Bio was cancelled and then picked up again solely so that NBC could have some “new” show for its streaming service. But if the short run is COVID-related that would also make sense.
yeah weird, what would make a show in production at the beginning of the year be cut short
Did NBC seriously only order an 8 episode run of a 22-minute sitcom?
I think Mike O’Brien is taking a floating timeline approach.
Eh. These are all the same whines they had about the pilot. Three seasons later it still consistently makes me laugh, even on rewatch.
Yeah, if Heather’s still on I’m on board for watching.
S7 of A.P. Bio and the kids are looking all 90210 old. I’m still in it for Heather. She’s such a scene stealer - I hope they have a lot of good plots where Jack and Heather pair up.
There are premium tiers available for $, but the basic tier is free. This show is part of the free tier, I believe.
Like regular, free Peacock or pay tier Peacock? Cuz we’re not paying for the ‘cock.
I believe it’s in free.
Whoa, I just realized this show’s creator is the same guy who wrote those two ridiculous SNL sketches where Bill Hader plays a traumatized Marine Corps vet who tries to deal with his memories of Grenada by going to a puppet class and creating a puppet that looks and sounds exactly like him, creeping out all the other…
Bunches of Funches!
Tragically, Funches is only in a single episode - although he is, weirdly, reprising another single-episode character appearance from back in (I think) Season 1. In any case, yes, needs more Funches. His episode is one of the ones I highlighted as the best of the season, and he's unsurprisingly a big part of it.
Gonna be brutally honest - by the second season, I was basically just watching for Patton and Paula. The students are all great but they’re not given a whole lot to do.
All I’m hearing is “we need more Funches”
You say that about every show! Ron Funches can’t be everywhere! There’s only so much Funches!
I can’t stress this enough, but I AM FINE WITH THIS.
A shame the show kinda falters in S3, but I love every actor on the show so much, I’m more than likely gonna enjoy it, especially if Ron Funches joins the cast.
