100% agree with all of this. 10 eps for 30mins each is too short for how many characters and plot there is.

Very true. I haven’t watched s1 since it came out I think so that’s something to look forward to. Agreed that s2 was better.

SO good. And yeah I know only a smidgen of his stand-up/actual self but from what I do know and have seen, Sam definitely could just be him. But, I agree, it’s so much more than that and he does a fantastic job showing it.

This line of Sam’s dialogue was so simply put but powerful. Probably because of the way Marc Maron delivered it:

A moment that was small but so funny was Ruth debating how to sit next to Sam and he was waiting for her to come from the aisle but she just jumped over the seat. Rewound a couple times, was too good.

During their fight I was visibly agitated with Debbie oh my god I wanted Ruth to yell “get the fuck out!” or something but I know that’s not Ruth. Although when Debbie shouted that line about “accidentally fucking my husband twice” or whatever, was terrifying and that whole scene beautifully acted.
