Her having famous siblings has, I think, helped her a lot. She’s been able to see what they went through so she can avoid it.

I was really bummed after the second season when the show was going on an indefinite hiatus. Looking forward to season 3, I don’t mind the character pivot. It’s the story telling that was great, not necessarily Aziz’s character.
“Aziz Ansari’s Master of None, a show that no one remembered”
To be fair...a lot of people appreciated Master of None when it originally aired (including Asian Americans & non-white LGBTQ+ folks). Even the episode with the deaf cast was a standout....I was thinking about that episode the other day.
“No is a full sentence” is literally my favorite advice ever. I read the Olsen’s saying that somewhere else and it’s stuck with me for years.
These sadistic reality shows wherein poor or jobless people compromise their values and self respect for a shot at a fake opportunity hit too close to home these days.
Yep! As someone mostly recovered from a stint with disordered eating, I told my nutritionist recently that any kind of restrictive diet wouldn’t work for me. I know myself and creating a lot of rules around what I can and cannot have, centered around specific “good” and “bad” ingredients is a recipe for disaster. She…
Incredibly tacky. This man is a multi-millionaire. These women do not need an ad for his Vegas residency, they need money LOL.
Okay, it looks like the quote was accurate but the rest of the piece is still goofy. Nobody is going to be cool with receiving fake money on the job!
What a surprise the GQP is against something that actually helps people
At best it’s tacky and I’m happy he got called out for it.
Of course the GOP wants to filibuster something that gives concrete statistics to the hate crimes that are mostly perpetuated by their supporters.
TMZ is now claiming that this is no big deal, actually, because Usher also paid in real cash. Regardless, throwing a bunch of fake hundred dollar bills at women who have been underemployed for the last year is cruel, even if real money is interspersed. They also misquoted @beel0ved.
As I state toward the end of the review, yes I did think I had a defective unit. I backchanneled with other tech reviewers from reputable publications, however, and our experiences were similar. If you check out other reviews (The Verge, Engadget, Mashable, Wired, etc) you’ll find these issues are widespread. I also…
Holy shit. I assumed (without clicking through the link) that some counter-protestors showed up on some bullshit.
It’s a small thing compared to a life, but jesus, FUCK this department for flying that flag.
Yeah. There was that one commenter that basically said she was a shitty person for trying to break the contract because she didn’t want to work with a sexual predator. And accused her of being emotionally manipulative and a stain on feminism because she cried during the process.
Good for her for speaking out.
It’s a good reminder Franco was a scuzzy abuser for a long time.
And while part of me respects his friends for continuing to be good friends rather than fair-weather opportunists who immediately threw him under the bus when he was no longer good for their optics, there’s are ways to do…
Yeah, this story was originally posted on A/V Club and that was a mistake as the commentariat over there is stuck in 2010.
she’s getting attacked like crazy. i think it’s because she rightfully named seth rogen as being complicit and everyone loves seth rogen so she’s getting shit on big time.
