Morissey right now:

I find their story deeply tragic. Married off to an old creep at 16, and shuffled around talk shows to gawk at for years.

Absolutely! Anybody with an allergy or an iota of sense understands that actually spelling out the ingredients is important for clarity. And actually, as a liability you would want to make sure people understand what’s NOT in their product and be super clear about it. It sounds like Demi needs to continue her therapy

Republican’s can just seriously shut the fuck up forever.

I just had to have a biopsy (came back benign!) at 28 after an ultrasound was inconclusive. Yes “I can handle” a false positive but I would prefer not to take time off work, hang out in the waiting room of a breast health center (during COVID, which has its own risks) until I get called in, lay on a cold table while a

A lot of diet restrictions aren’t just “celiacs” or “diabetes” though - labelling something “gluten free” or “sugar free” is clearer messaging, it lets you know what is in or not in it.

I can’t imagine getting that upset about there being a diabetic friendly shop.

Coming from a family with both type 1 diabetes and celiac disease, I applaud this place for offering choices.

It’s cool how because you’re a woman you are able to speak for all women.

If this is a cause (the whole diet\faux healthy eating business) she feels passionate about, she can use her celebrity to talk about. To use whatever clout she’s got to come done on this one company the way she did seems very misdirected. It would be different if she discovered their yogurt was made with rancid raccoon

Didi needs to take the L on this one, calling out specific ingredients not in a product is much more helpful for making informed decisions than saying who the audience is. Like “diabetic cookie” could mean anything, but “sugar-free” is pretty easy to understand. And some more-than-it-should-be percentage of people

Everything I have every heard or read about Demi Lovato just makes her sound like an exhausting person to be around. And not in a fun way.

They do look at more than just the cost over cancer costs. They also look at whether or not it saves lives and so far it hasn’t. We’ve put a lot more women through a lot more invasive procedures to determine whether something is cancer or not and woman are dying of breast cancer at the same rates as before we started

After I got mine I learned my boobs are dense, too. That tracks. Every time I tell my boobs a joke they just stare at me like they didn’t get it.

False positives lead to unnecessary further testing and - sometimes - unnecessary further procedures. Every new extra step is another opportunity for errors and false positives. Doing your best to maximize your effectiveness at the first step is in accordance with the principle of “First, do no harm.”

Man, I been doing it wrong my whole life. If I don’t like some food joint’s menu, I just don’t go back. I’m such a fool.

Colorado, with a 4% black population, and that’s the petard this judge chose to hand her career as a judge on.

The slutshaming that followed that illegal revenge porn release was something i’ll never forget as a young woman. Paris is problematic, but on this one...as others have said, 100% on her side.

Ditto. I remember the narrative around her at the time - all the talk was about her and what a “slut” she was and I remember hearing nothing about Solomon at the time (um, it takes two to tango?). The tape he chose to release was 100% her responsibility, somehow.

One of the few things I will ever agree with Paris Hilton on, is that the tape should never have been released and it never should have been treated the way it was by the media.
