If we are going to use resources to analyze and try to reduce suicide I think people in prison are pretty low on that priority list. We have plenty of people killing themselves outside of prison, sorry if I am not called to action because a murderer decided to take his own life, saves the taxpayers some money.
I think a famous person committing suicide in prison could bring needed attention to this problem, but only if that person wasn’t a double murderer. If Aaron Hernandez killed himself in prison for his fourth offense related to an opioid addiction, people would care. But he killed two people, and no one cares because a…

When I was like, 9 or 10, I decided I was going to make pumpkin bread for Thanksgiving. I rushed through reading the recipe, and ended up adding tablespoons of baking soda, rather than teaspoons. It was terrible. I cried a lot. But I am now a very careful recipe reader.

No judgement here, but you do seem to realize that you’re quite unusual in your desire to be indoors all the time. That alone should probably be enough to show that your personal experiences are unlikely to explain other peoples’ bicycling habits, without needing to assume that those people are insane.
Still illegal to drive wasted even if it is a prescription drug. Pills are harder to prove, but weaving all over and failing a field sobriety test will still get you arrested.
You can still get a DUI when on oxy. That doesn’t excuse them.
