If you liked this, you should really give The Leftovers a shot. The first season is not indicative of the quality of the back two.

I agree with you in parts and disagree with you in parts. I agree that on a base level - especially in the world of home cookery - folks often can get by doing what they’re most comfortable with. Great is the enemy of good. I agree, too, that it’s certainly a poor example of technique to throw up as a header for a…
Two bulky rear facing seats in a Focus would be tight.
Yeah this dude is a charlatan
It’s not a safety issue on its own, but it’s must less secure and controlled way to use a knife for most applications. Alton Brown has a great full episode on just knife-work (Season 11, Episode 11: American Slicer), but he talks a little in this online video for Shun at around the 2:00 mark on this issue, too:
That header picture shows a very wrong way to hold a knife.
The whole thing feels like they trying to copycat BMW’s weird move to do M-Performance cars that aren’t true M cars, like the M340xi and so on. It’s weird for BMW and weirder for Caddy.
For the three series, anyways, they used to have two different four cylinder engines of increasing power levels below the inline six. Who the fuck knows how they get these numbers now, though. There used to be a 25 and a 28, but it became a 30 at some point after the 30 became a 35, but before it became a 40. Ugh.
I’ve got two years left on my lease (almost) and my daughter is just shy of 18 months, so I think I’ll be in a different car by the time I have to do two seats. My dad has an M550xi and I think two car seats would fit fine, but full side adults in both the front and the back of that car doesn’t leave me wildly…
This is a four cylinder car. Apparently the six cylinder turbo cars are 40 and the four cylinder turbos are 35.
I cannot imagine a rear-facing convertible would fit well in that cramped looking backseat. I have a 340xi and the big seat fits perfectly in the center, but when we have a second kid I expect the passenger seat will have to scoot forward a bit to accommodate.
I look forward to even more people posting on Nextdoor about how 5G is giving us all cancer and brain worms.
And the price PLUMMETS after a couple of years. CPO G80 is a steal.
Yeah the halo is dumb, I expect my athletes to put their life on the line for a game. The good old days!
Just track down 4K77.
I drove a 135is in St. Louis for just shy of three years. In the County everything was fine, so long as there was no precipitation. I hit a pothole in the City once and immediately blew a tire, though.
Sigh. It was Ted Drewe’s.
The photos of the new Z4 don’t really do it justice. I saw one at an ice cream place in St. Louis a few months ago and immediately stopped what I was doing to go over and see it. Since then I’ve seen maybe a dozen new Z4s around the city and two Supras.
But everyone just uses HBO GO instead of Max by stealing it from their parents that still have cable.
People still do this? What the fuck.
