It’s good though.

This. I use iTunes only for device syncing and adding local files. Then, I listen to the local files in Spotify/sync them over in playlists to my phone.

My dad has gotten into it enough that he also purchased a small deli slicer for cutting meat into exact thickness pieces. He’s a serious guy.

Now you kind of have to request documents 1-609.

Anecdotally, my computer asked to store it in the keychain, the Mac local password storage thing. I also imagine that’s why it’s Mac only for now.

My dad has this one and loves it, for what it’s worth.

No. It says so in the article.

They did.

I resized it right away and still no luck.

The window closes before I can enter my two-factor code, can’t get into the app.

Mid-2014 rMBP. 44 charge cycles. Wow.

I passed on the $105 bottle. It’s a nice whisky, but it’s not a $105 bottle by actual quality, it’s only priced there by scarcity. I’d happily pay $50 a bottle for Yamazaki 12, but I don’t think it’s worth its current asking price when there are so many other things out there on the market. There’s a lot of stuff out

Hibiki is nice, but I agree that I greatly prefer Yamazaki 12. Interestingly, I saw a bottle of Yamazaki 12 in a liquor store in Louisville the other day... for $105.

I’m okay with this announcement, just because I kind of expected Season 3 to be the last.

St. Louisan here:

The Leftovers is one of the best shows of all time and its recent Emmy snubs were borderline criminal. Season one was a real tough hand, but seasons 2 and 3 were full on amazing.

I remember the days when I could pick up Yamazaki 12 just collecting dust on the shelf for $35. It was an amazing deal. At $50 it was fairly priced. The hype and the cost have exceeded the quality. There’s better, cheaper, and more readily available stuff out there in the Japanese whisky world now.

I eagerly await the English translation of this.

These are supposedly great:
