That sucks. It was still on the list of cars I was considering when this lease runs out. The new generation should be out by then (runs out September 2018) and hopefully is better, but my hopes are low. It’s getting to be a game of slim pickings when I want an adult looking three pedal fast four door car.

I have no explanation why, but I’m always bothered when I see someone doing this. It screams “I hate people and don’t want to talk to anyone” to me, which feels rude. I’m not sure why I would want fellow shoppers to be open and chatty in the first place, though, so this is pretty irrelevant.

I’m sad that you don’t like the steering on the 340xi. I’m about half through a lease on a 335xi, right before they did the “LCI” and changed to the new engine. My car is a snooze for handling, but I had hoped the new model improved that. Sad da.

This car is beautiful and compelling, but the maintenance seems terrifying based on some early reports, and the price borders on insane. I’m not sure who the top end car is for, except people that are tired of getting M3s.
