My car has both, but I use the USB because I can control stuff through the car’s infotainment thing. Also, the sound quality seems to be a little better over the wires.

Yup. It's a big pile of compromises, but you end up with very drinkable coffee in a hotel room, which can be rather rare.

The handpresso qualifies as “pretty good.” My dad has the hand pumped one. When he’s out of town, having access to wholly decent coffee is a godsend. That being said, it only works with pods, which is a pretty big limitation.
