Ramen in Little Tokyo too!
Ramen in Little Tokyo too!
Un Solo Sol in Boyle Heights. Boyle Heights can be intimidating at night, but you should be fine during the daytime.
I feel the same about this as I do about Anthony Weiner and all the other dudes who get caught doing naughty things on the internet in this sort of way. It doesn't make you unqualified for a job to get sexy, but being caught because you made this stupid of a mistake means you are probably too dumb to hold a position…
I have twice, one lasted nearly a year (that one was a mutual emotional connection, the first one just saw me as an internet buddy). Both lived on different continents (I'm in the US, the first was in the UK, the second in Australia). Me and Australia were too poor to travel, so we just had to ride it out.…
Government is controlled by men, but I guess it doesn't matter. We both agree that quotas can be a useful tool so why argue.
Well no. The quotas are set by the men in power (since men are the vast vast majority prior to these quotas). Again, there is nothing wrong with using quotas, but it isn't women standing up and inviting themselves.
Yes, but that doesn't change what I said.
I said comparable, not the same. But yeah, depresing.
US numbers are actually comparable to China and UK, depending on the house of the legislature. So pretty shitty... but at least we're comparable to the UK? =/
Yes, but it's also reserving space for (inviting) women by the men that are already in power. Again, though quotas can be good in the short-term, but they are definitely women waiting to be invited to participate in the government.
I'm not anti-quota per se, but quotas are women waiting to be invited.
Not that he isn't a horrible scumbag, but his original last name was Villar; he is a Mexican American so the change wasn't to confuse Latinos.
Yes it is utilization, even if it isn't the most efficient. The dead animal was used, so it was utilized. And vegetables/vegetarian/ethical and healthy options are not easily accessible everywhere. Look up food deserts. Some people don't have the luxury of being too picky about what they eat.
You also might want to note the author of this piece, Laura Beck, is a vegan. So there is nothing hypocritical in this article at least.
Killing something for the sake of killing is not the same as killing something to utilize it. I'm a vegetarian and find both repugnant, but one is definitely worse.
I feel you man. I just got done with the worst week ever. It's funny how I can find the subject so amazing but the work/schedule so painful.
But black women aren't only more likely to die of breast cancer, African Americans are more likely to die of a multitude of diseases. Pretty much across the board.
Vegetarian as well. It's about the regulatory process, not what animal you're eating.
The horror of it has nothing to do with eating a particular animal, it has to do with things being packaged and sold as something they aren't. That means something is wrong somewhere along food inspection process chain.
I actually went vegetarian a month ago after the horse meat thing. I had been long considering it anyway, but the the idea that this sort of thing can get through food inspection processes made me wonder what the hell else could get through.
