They totally deserve to die. But humans shouldn't be allowed to make the decision to take another human's life.

It's... not theological. I agree with tight gun restrictions, but it is political. The right is given to us in our Constitution, so it's a politically given right. I rarely hear even conservatives inject god into this issue. They talk about strict interpretations of the Constitution and whatnot.

I have a dilemma. My little sister is 15, much younger than me (I am 23) and she has several times been given rides home from her 19 year old guy friend (they met in school when she was a freshman and he a senior, he has since graduated, he also happens to be the younger brother of one of my friend's). This happens on

I agree. I don't care that it's not taken seriously, this column is supposed to be funny, but the "oh my god this is so BLAH" way that Lindy does this column is a bit grating. Then again, I'm not too big on Lindy's writing style in general though I know a lot of people like her.

Because they were being reckless with other people's stuff. I don't want them thrown in jail, I just wish they would have done this in an equally visible but not as reckless way.

Not a linguist, but I do know that the current English accent (the one popular in the media) is a fairly new thing. I think I have also heard that the old accent was similar to the Southern American accent.

Did you read the article? She was talking about the people the article listed as runners up.

Except there are reports of jumping on cars. Not all property damage is reported. My car has been damaged by people several times and I never reported it because I didn't see the point.

That was my point. You can be loud and angry without destroying stuff.

Seriously. I voted for Obama for a variety of reasons, a small part of which had to do with women's rights.

I agree completely.

How about being extremely, obnoxiously noisy but without leaving a physical mark on other people's stuff.

Even the poorest of people own something and would probably not like it damaged. It's not like there isn't an alternative to getting attention that doesn't involve destroying things.

Your comment really does come off that way. But you clarified later so hey, whatever.

Guys whatever happened to fire jolly ranchers? Did I make those up?

You're devaluing your point. It's not on par, but it is still a hateful word to use.

Yeah the media is pretty fucking sick =/

I've read, I think it was in one of the books by Alison (?) Weir that the court was scandalized because Anne Boleyn wanted to breastfeed Elizabeth.

I have room in my head to care about many things at once. As for actively doing things to prevent these occurrences anywhere in the world, I've probably donated more to foreign relief than domestic. I think that actually holds true for a lot of people. I think the only thing that prevents "equal caring" is media

I didn't until now.
