The whole notion of the worn out good guy (attracted to the scrappy girl) being run out of town by someone new who's more brutal…only to return out of the blue, take down the brutal guy and ruin the rich girl who was behind it all's plans…

The dog has more personality.

-"Did you hear they let women lead films now?"
-"Well, I'll say!"
-"And direct!"
-*faints*

"Because Wonder Woman's movie is a women's movie for women and has to star a woman and be directed by a woman so women can talk about women and women can woman everywhere." - Warner Brothers Executive

Yeah. Ever since then, diversity has taken a real hit around here. As opposed to prior to that when diversity was taking a real hit around here.

This line of thinking is exactly why you'll never be a successful film executive.

YOU LEAVE ROWAN ATKINSON OUT OF THIS, YOU SON OF A BITCH!

I wish this had said Bean was joining the cast of the next Bourne film as a former operative of some sort. …I wish I had something quippy to say but that's just how I felt. Here, I'll give it a go anyway…

DAMNIT! Another one of my ideas stolen!

Sounds like it was a terrible scene morally regarding what it might imply about the husband or his actions. But its entertainment value still seems sound in that, "Hey, half-naked chicks, man!" way.

Rider or riot!

Well, that's kind of what 22 Jump Street's ending was, wasn't it? Such a nodding, knowing, continuous wink that…where do they go? I figured that layering the awful self-indulgence of self-referential humor might make people aware that they're aware they're (probably too) self-aware. Which, of course, doesn't help,

I know. But, in a lot of ways, wasn't it also the best? (Answer: No. But at least Scream 3 knew it was turning into a parody of itself. For an out-and-out comedy rather than satire…that shouldn't be too problematic tonally.)

I've got it! The next movie is them working as advisers on a film about their first big adventure but *SHOCK* somebody involved in the production is involved in distributing drugs!

It's true. What says, "I have a well-rounded, objective view on this subject." more than limited subjective experience?

Right - generally while not admitting any guilt. So those don't count as criminals.

Naw, man. That's what I like about these 60 year old white men; I get older, they stay the same age.

Are there people who have friends that aren't 60 year old white men? …Is that possible?

I think the legal system is screwed up in a lot of regards. But I really don't think this is the best matter for him to take an immediate stand on. Particularly not when his argument is roughly framed as though it's a defense against accusations which might be directed at him. It really skews any potential

What a coincidence - a film loses track of its narrative in the third act in order to provide "general audiences" with a satisfying conclusion (which only serves to ultimately alienate those who were most invested). Haven't heard that one before.
