At this point I’m convinced that if Biden said the Earth was round you’d turn half the electorate into flat-earthers overnight, and Pearson would be rushing out brand new textbooks saying that the shape of the planet was “debatable.”

Minivans. I saw the practicality in them, saw how they made sense for nuclear families with 2.8 children and their detritus. I had owned both a station wagon and a small-mid SUV at that point, and felt like those configurations would give me all the people- and cargo-carrying capacity I would ever need.

We pretty much have that. America has an entire political party that controls Fox, some of the most watched “news” shows in the country (those biggest shows are legally classified as entertainment so that they can lie, but millions still think it’s journalism). A media company doesn’t need to start a political party

Yes, it’s from all the Assholes working there.

They don’t even do that, they create their narrative to fit their ideology and then just report it. That’s it. No fact checking, no journalistic integrity, just the mouth of Sauron over there

Because they’re not even pretending to make honest arguments.

The only thing dumber than Fox are the dummies that watch it.

I’m extremely uncomfortable with being called that. I was simply a deluded individual who finally started questioning what I was being spoon-fed. Nothing more.

Honestly, I have to get this off my chest... my love of the automotive industry is what turned me away from the right-wing.

I was massively GOP for a long time, thanks to my father. He was a Limbaugh/Drudge/FoxNews addict. Otherwise a good, decent man, but a lifetime of believing right-wing propaganda. I, personally,

If you based your knowledge of engineering, technology and scientific analysis as well as health and well being based on watching years of Fox and the conservative entertainment complex you would believe:

Seems like you also hate starting your sentences with capital letters.

Good call, but even with some actual buttons and knobs added back in, the MK8 interior seems like an overall downgrade in materials vs the MK7/7.5.

i don’t want lights to be the solution. because i hate dashboard lights at night. i hate when some are brighter than others. i hate when some are different colors than others. i love tech in cars. but in this one way i wish cars were old timey. controlled by switches that i can feel and identify and manipulate in the

I don’t understand how these things get through testing with actual humans? We know most new cars go through real world testing - hence why we get all the camo shots of upcoming cars. I see a camo’d next gen BMW X1 on my commute most mornings. So we have to assume these things, along with the infuriating infotainment
