Yeah.  Some things still shock me, even though they’re unsurprising.

A bunch of “freedom” loving patriots stand ready to inflict violence, not against tyranny but for it.  What a world.

Yep.  People don’t base their partisan beliefs on facts or evidence.  That becomes more clear every day.

It’s stunning to watch Republicans at all levels push this absurd conspiracy theory.  

They’re desperate and they’re pushing absurd conspiracy theories without a shred of evidence.  I wish I was more confident that this strategy wasn’t going to work for them.

I find SI’s website much more readable than ESPN’s.  Not a high bar, though.

I don’t think anything from Exile in Guyville could ever have the chart success of Why Can’t I or Extraordinary. Nor anything from Whip-Smart, though it’s closer. Maybe Polyester Bride could have.

I’m shocked (which is still possible, apparently) at how many Republicans are buying into the absurd conspiracy theory that Democrats and a bunch of foreign intelligence agencies framed the Trump campaign for Russian colluding with the Russians.

GW Bush gets treated like a decent president now and a lot of Republicans seem to be coming around to the view that Nixon shouldn’t have been impeached. I’m pretty sure that lots of people will have revisionist views on Trump after he leaves office.

The actual ending of The Dark Tower was great, though it took me time to realize it.  A lot of the stuff that led up to the ending was...not great.

I don’t know John Teti, but John Hodgman is a kind of village elder to me.  I like some of the media he produces, but I mostly like his advice and folk wisdom.
