Some of these wouldn’t work for me, but some of them would.  I’m going to try to incorporate some of the ideas presented here and see how it goes.

Agreed. And I liked the first few seasons of The Mindy Project, but it lost me after a while too. Without Ike Barinholtz it would have lost me a lot earlier.

The pilot really rubbed me the wrong way. I didn’t really like any of the characters or the story, so minor issues I might have otherwise forgiven felt really magnified.

I read this as Cotton demonstrating that he’s a good Trump foot soldier and bolstering his claim as an heir to Trumpism.

It’s not my favorite hat, but I think the real problem is that he’s wearing it inside with a t-shirt. If he were wearing a blazer outside I don’t think it would be that bad.

We must avoid socialism! What we need is one man in one accessible location to make plans, a “central planner”, if you will. This “central planner” will allocate resources to industries, give directives to industry, tell specific companies where to locate, etc.

This is totally bonkers, but just the other day Trump literally referred to himself as the King of the Jews, the second coming of God, and the chosen one.  It’s hard to get worked up about this after that.

The entire Republican party has realized that their base doesn’t care if the lies are believable any more.  I think they’re right that the base doesn’t care, but I think they’re underestimating how crazy this all sounds to the rest of us.

There’s a case that Mother Theresa did a lot of good (with some dissenters), but was she an advocate for women?  I’m not aware of that.

That student quote about how the professor spouts politics at you is a bit disturbing.  QAnon isn’t politics.

All of the people who were outraged by the implied antisemitism they detected in Ilhan Omar’s comments are going to be furious about Trump!

At least Trump confirmed my belief that the term “politically correct” is meaningless pablum.

Who needs a just criminal justice system?  We can just have commenters on the internet decide if the death penalty was warranted by minority vote.

I’m buying flood insurance to prepare for the deluge of pushback from people who criticized Ilhan Omar’s supposed dual loyalty comments. If those folks were offended then, I’m sure we’ll all be blown away by their righteous anger when they hear about Trump’s comments.

That’s the explanation that makes the most sense to me, plus the fact that Trump has a naked obsession with being loved.

You make the same mistake that Trump and his (other) sychophants are making: You assume that supporting anything Israel does is automatically a favor to Jews. Nope.

None of this stuff seems calculated to appeal to American Jews.  To the extent is calculated, it seems designed to appeal to people who are kind of suspicious about Jews while they want Israel to be able to usher in the apocalypse - evangelicals.

In all seriousness, I think that the attorneys who argued against testing DNA in this case should be shunned by polite society.  I wouldn’t let them in my house.

Police Tweet: It has come to our attention that Judas Priest is breaking or has broken the law at least twice. Any infractions of our the Oregon criminal code will be referred to the District Attorney’s office for prosecution.

Yeah, that’s why I think the sky’s the limit.
