I bought a cheap Serta memory foam topper (3 inches) one from Overstock about three years ago. (http://www.overstock.com/Bedding-Bath/S…) I feel like nothing's as great as a full Tempurpedic mattress (I had one growing up - amazing), but I'd say the topper scores 7/10.
