That comment is a microcosm of the whole show. I do like how Cheryl developed post S1, and I like Toni, but...geez, what happened?

Tabula rasa if you want to get fancy.

Nah, “Love Reign O’er Me.”

I wish Hiram had never become a regular. He was better as an offstage presence.

I was gonna say, well, it’s Riverdale w/r/t Archie pulling out of selling the construction business. But for the rest of it...yeah...weird reversals. Like Charles  must have been involved with the lie detector. His part in it got cut, but they kept in the lie detector, pushing the incident into WTF territory.

That’s what I’m talkin’ about!

One of my housemates in college had been an elite figure skater. (No kidding, she knew most of the people on the 1984 US Olympic Team. Partied with them when Ice Capades came to town.) While we were watching a figure skating event, she mentioned that the women were wearing bras, but probably no panties, since they got

Yessssss!!!! And let’s brink back old-school basketball uniforms while we’re at it!

I’m sorry.

Did anyone notice that this episode did *not* end with a teaser/epilogue about Jughead’s upcoming pseudo-demise? What’s up with that?

Yeah, Hiram will probably bounce back, with the weak excuse (on the writers’ part) that the diagnosis was a false alarm, and he’ll be just a shitty as ever. I think he’s one big reason the show lost the magic of Season 1. I hope he dies or becomes so debilitated, Veronica is free to run Lodge Industries on an ethical

What about Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” act a few years ago? Wasn’t that considered “too sexy,” or was all the fuss about something else? (I never watch any part of the Super Bowl, so I remember a lot of fuss, but not the actual show.)

Agree that Tess is misrepresenting herself, and that can be considered fraudulent. OTOH, stealing someone’s idea and (mis)representing it as one’s own is also fraudulent.

If this is satire, I’m not sure what she’s satirizing.

I love Philadelphia Story and I love Cole Porter, but I could never really get into High Society. The arrangements of the songs sound so dorky to me. And I’m definitely not a fan of Bing Crosby.

Dangerous Liaisons? Yep. Working Girl? Also yep.

Shameless” is just generally bewildering. I enjoyed Joan’s performance, though. I always do.

My cat got so that she’d wait till I put a paper towel down for her to vomit on.

But Dangerous Liaisons had tits!
