Chevy Cavalier. My first girlfriend inherited one from one of her parents or some shit. At 18 years old, I loved her more than anything in the world; she was amazing in every possible way. Our relationship eventually broke down, but the damned car survived. It was gasping for breath and literally falling apart at the

Or a really robust half-pipe.

Yeah but then there’s an ENTIRE HOUSE in front of them.

Wait, what? How do people keep running that stop sign? I was thinking there must be some kind of confusing signage or visual noise going on in the environment but there’s nothing of the sort.

Good on you. Sometimes there’s just no other way to communicate that.

Well, I don’t think EVERYONE is just accepting it. They are fighting back but... I don’t think it’s going well.

Because like it or not, cops will abuse their power. So if they are feeling like it, they WILL pull you over and find justification to do so.

+1

I can’t wait for liftbacks to be more common again!

Another thing that never gets mentioned is that as Americans, we can’t have nice things. Ever ridden any kind of public transit? It’s filthy, nasty, and gets vandalized all the time. This isn’t Japan where people are grown-up —- things like this will be ruined in short order. Like that robot that was trying to

Not crossover? Not SUV? Not Euro status symbol / penis-compensator?

The only modern Ferrari that butters my parsnips.

It’s too bad that the engineers have to make the CVT’s this way. The whole concept of the CVT is actually amazing, but because people aren’t used to the way the engine behaves with a proper CVT, they have to make it have “stepped gears” so people don’t freak out, thereby negating the point of CVT’s in the first place.

Exactly my thinking.

Yah, AWD is definitely a checkbox on most crossover buyer’s lists. Might be looking into a new Crosstrek then at this point. I love my mean-eye Impreza Outback Sport (which my girlfriend and I both own), but I think it’s only a matter of time before she starts getting worried about its crash-worthiness and I start

I agree. I’m still torn, though. I would love the extra space of the C-HR (camping and climbing trips) and I actually do like the styling of it. But it just sucks that the market dictates that they castrate the whole concept of a CVT and the whole NO-AWD-THING.

Ahhhh, yes. Glickenhaus! Thanks!

Kristen, what is that second to last car?

Oi, this and the Honda S660 need to make their way to the States where I can buy one of each to flog at the track. Good god what fun these cars would be at full tilt on a street course or auto-x maze.

That transforming/motorized display seems so useless. I mean, just design a display that doesn’t obstruct your view in the first place and then have switchable info stacks and you’d bypass all the complexity of that thing. Having said that...
