Join their loyalty programs, and check to see if any organizations with which you are affiliated have agreements with different car rental places. For example, if I go through my work affiliation, I get an Emerald Aisle membership with a certain car rental agency.

His "record-setting college days at the University of Tennessee" might be that connection that you're missing.

How does that compare to the Boss 429's numbers? The 73 TA might have made it out of the first round if it were against a weaker opponent.

As of my voting, there are 119 nice price votes. I'm guessing at least 18 of those are just trolling the poll.

From what I've read and heard about this, his biggest concern is sweat. Apparently at that speed and elevation, sweat will freeze and the results are not conducive to living.

It's way more fun to drive to work than a Camry. I justify mine as a commuter.

I dd a 1st-gen Scirocco and I've never seen another one in the flesh yet. I have been told that there is one other Scirocco in the area, but it stays locked up in a garage. I drove it to a VW car show last year and there were people milling around it in the parking area when I went to leave.

You still see GN's at drag strips across the midwest.

I pass a faded green one on my commute on most days. It's the only car that I pass that makes my Scirocco seem normal-sized.

Weren't those rare when they were still in production? I've only seen two in the wild... evar.

I use one as my commuter / daily driver. Mine's an '81 Scirocco S showing 259k miles. Even Miatas look big as they pass you when you're driving one of these...

Market it as "Super Sized" - 2/3 of people filling out the order form will check it off just out of habit.

I'm not sure where they are located, but being close would make sense.

The Fort Wayne Assembly Plant is where GM and Chevy trucks are produced, but the CNG system is added at a 3rd-party site.

That was big news recently where I live (hint: it's where they make those trucks).

Yes... yes, you can. Just head over to [racingjunk.com] and look around. If you haven't been there before, I apologize for providing you that link ahead of time. I've lost countless hours looking around at stuff on that site.

He whipped the tail out nicely at the end as well.
