When those cars were made, Chrysler was an all American company.
"The 1964.5 Mustangs were not really 1964.5 models. They were considered to actually be EARLY 1965's. So, the first digit of the VIN number (last digit of the model year) was 5, not 4."
The lack of fire damage makes it pretty rare... right?!
My thought exactly. Even two cheap floor jacks would do the job...
He's moving. My guess is that he means that he's moving this wallet-sucker into someone else's garage.
I blatantly lied. I told him that I just happen to realize how fast I was going as I crested the hill, so I hit the brakes to bring myself back down to a safe, legal speed. He looked my truck over good, but had to let me go after a few minutes.
Well, I guess it was a municipal ordinance... I don't use a radar detector any longer as the last few I had didn't warn me until it was too late.
I hope that they have excellent insurance. I think they are going to need it.
For some reason, I really want to clean my nails now...
I drive to Novi for work on occasion. I've had co-workers who had their radar detectors confiscated during traffic stops in Michigan, but I'm not sure exactly where they were.

After trying to act nonchalant about it (that noise could be coming from anywhere, right?!), I finally reached down and unplugged the detector. He didn't get a reading on me that was worth a ticket, but he wanted to know how I knew to slam on the brakes before I got to where he was hiding (backed into a cornfield).
My detector started going off while I was talking to an officer once (while pulled over). It was under my seat, but it sure made for an awkward silence as he stared at me and I tried to decide what to do.
Those are just painted lines... used exactly as described (time a car from strip A to strip B). Eventually your car will be smart enough to ticket you without police intervention...
At one point, they were illegal in Michigan as well.
Well, that certainly makes it seem as if my Feb. 20th is going to pale in comparison. Bravo, Mr. Glenn.
... not that there's anything wrong with that.
I thought we all agreed not to talk about this again...
I came here to say this. Why was the 307 so much worse than even the 305?
