I already have a distaste for minivans... I don't need more of a reason. If they would just stay out of the left lane, it would be a nice start. Or we could just start running them off the roads... which never occurred to me (multiple times) during my road trip this weekend.

Hell no. I've seen what this conversion can look like when done correctly and it's quite impressive. This just looks cobbled together and somewhat dangerous... not that there's anything wrong with that.

Very nice. I have read a lot of positive trade press about Ford resizing itself correctly for this "new" market where build numbers aren't hitting a record every other year. Congrats, blue oval guys. As an aside, the 3rd quarter is usually the worst in the automotive sector as far as income.

@Turbineguy - now with Firefox!: Chevy stuck that little wheezy bastard in the Camaro and the S-10 too. I test drove a couple of those before I test drove an '89 Toyota (22R w/ a 4-speed). The engine in the 4-cyl S-10 pretty much sold me on the Toyota.

@Muscles Marinara: Yes, the Z28 always got the 5.0L to the best of my knowledge. I was being a bit of a smartass. My '87 Custom Deluxe has the 305 as well and it sucks for a Chevy V8. Thanks, malaise era smog restrictions and early fuel injection.

@MrFizzle: I actually owned an '82 S-10. I hope you don't have the same lame-ass 2.8L.
