Never heard of this show. Now, it’s on my bucket list.

As staid as it is by today’s standards, I will always love the Volvo 850 T5-R. It looks so great with those sharp edges, and that paint. Such a perfect shade of yellow.

Thanks, that’s good to know.

mmmm Saab!

Good news, it exists.

“As for the rear, i heard the opposite. Actually a pretty sturdy rear end for most applications. And for milage, I have made more than 20 MPG a few times”

I can certainly respect the financing reasoning, if not the car choices lol.

Hey, I really enjoyed my $500 Trans Am (76') and it was a POS too...but I still miss it sometimes. Comfortable seats, plenty of torque, predictable handling (at least when sitting on 15x8's), louder than hell, easy to fix and factory 8 track.

You can say that again.

Yes exactly, suck all that junk up right into your injectors. Or even better who needs any fuel to cool off that fuel pump. Let it burn baby.

Where did I say anything about driveability? Why did you jump to that conclusion?

For someone who bemoans people being stuck in 1986, you sure seem stuck on an automatic transmission experience from 1986...

Counterpoint: more horsepower makes cars suck.

Unless you’re the kind of person who can afford a $50k+ “sports car” just for track days/back roads on perfect days/whatever, your car will spend the bulk of it’s life idling in traffic, creeping forward in traffic, accelerating all the way to 20 miles per hour in

BMW honestly doesn’t have a better interior anymore either. Their 3/4 series have gone down market compared to E46/90 gens. And the 2 series is downright terrible.

@ 3200 pounds closer to 450 horsepower would put it square in GT350 and Camaro 1LE territory in terms of performance and a good place to be. Toyota like Ford with the Shelby can upcharge but to be frank Camaro is setting the standard in the sports car segment (well really performance sedan but people get bent the fuck

It will be fine.

You don’t need that much power with a proper, modern transmission and a well balanced sports car. You can toss a well balanced sports car into a corner at speeds, under power, that would stain the pants of someone sitting on considerably more horsepower.

I’ve ridden the ass of and passed guys in far

160,000,000 HP in the first stage alone....that was before the 2nd stage, also known as “Vtec yo!” kicked in.

It’s not that far-fetched an idea. The 240i/340i/440i with the same engine and RWD are all available with a manual.

i’d say that i am not going to buy one of these because of the autotragic transmission... but i’m really just not going to buy one because i’m broke.
