Back in the day, Aspen used Saabs . The 99's were originally  red, but apparently there was too much confusion from tourists as to why a car from the fire department was trying to pull them over, so they switched to a dark blue.

Back in the early 90's I was on a road trip with some buddies when we got passed by a bright red Trans Am. All four of us in the car noticed it and even noticed the baseball glove that was tossed up into the back window. None of us knew it was a cop car until he hit the lights a minute or so later to take the next

Also, in Vail they had Saab 900 Turbos, Saab 95, and currently Volvo XC90s.

I used to rent a room from my brother in a shitty part of town. His house was right off a main road, and it wasn’t uncommon for people to meet across from our driveway for various transactions.

Aspen has Highlanders

I once saw a guy that had been pulled over in Florida by a white Volvo S60 sedan. It had the blue and red lights on its dash.

In my city cops often have the guy with a radar gun in plain clothes sitting in a lawn chair. If he clocks you going too fast he radios down to a cruiser on a side street who does the ticketing. Of course Ive only seen this on nice sunny days, but I’ve been hit TWICE by the same set up, on the same stretch of road.

Saw a murdered out unmarked Dodge Ram pulling someone over in Lone Tree the other day. Pretty sure you would never see the hidden lights in the grill and the windows were tinted. Sneaky bastards!

Pretty sure I saw someone pulled over by a pickup truck once.

A red Toyota Camry. Completely anonymous and frightening at the same time.

Our local PD has a brand new, all black Ram 1500 with completely hidden lights (e.g., in grill, in cab), tinted windows, and zero markings. I would never have known it was a cop were it not for seeing him pull someone over.

You have a great T-shirt idea there

Tip: Print this out and tape to several surfaces in your car.

...or just someone harboring a lot of contempt for their former employer... Turns out you can say just about anything in the comments section on a car website these days.

That’s what puts me off a little. They didn’t want to wake him up?

Nobody else got kicked off the plane. Sounds pretty special to me.

Easy: because it was probably a lie, fabricated by the couple in order to exploit maximum gain from United at a time when their PR relations are at their worst.

Remember the plethora of people faking their Toyota’s being out of control? Here’s just one well-known example: http://jalopnik.com/5491101/did-bankrupt-runawa

I’d be all ready to jump on United with both boots, but I have worked with a lot of engaged couples. A few can act like a rigid bloc of enraged entitlement. So contrary to all internet traditions I’m withholding judgment.

Just wait until United Airlines tries parking one of its planes in front of its house and the neighbors start complaining...

No, they were removed by a portly southerner named Ulysses S. Marshall.
