I am not sure there is a way I can agree more. My daily driver has almost no climate control, no radio/infotainmemt, weighs 3200 lbs, and has 88 horsepower.

I am thinking 3200-3500 is more likely.
That 335 seems like it could be right. I am not sure where Toyota is aiming for price, but that hp number does put it right in line with the V6 Camaro, and just a smidge below the M2.
That is very much what I do. Engine/mounts from Oldsmobile. Spindles from B Body caprices, rear brakes from newer S10 trucks.
I wont lie, that is a dream if mine. Getting enough efficieny out of a Rotary to make them viable for something more than range extenders and concept cars designed to tease Rotary people.
I really hope this works. I have beem following it for about 5 years now, and I am glad to see it didnt just fizzle out.
Technicly, I cheap out everywhere but brakes.
Here is a question about that. I agree the engineers are smarter than me, but I like to work on and modify my cars.
It depends on the filter. The SuperTech ones are made by Champion. Cheap label, decent filter.
Gotta disagree with you. Beem usong SuperTech Synthetic for years on high milage turbo cars, and have never had an issue.
Have a star, and thank you for the best laugh I have had all day!!!!
Mine doesnt chew through em. It just has happened enough to me growing up with my Dad that i just got used to it.
Good road choice, and really enjoying the music.
Colorado isn’t terrible. Bears are terrible.
Don’t joke. I still carry spare ignition control modules in my Firebird.
I will add two more:
Turns out I have been a risk taker. My Firebird doesnt see as much use as I would like, so I have always gotten away with whatever used tires I could get for a good price.
Lol that is kind of how am. I was already into endurance racing, and my friend is a rotary nut.
Weird engine options that either I want to do myself, the factory, or were planned, and then canceled.
Hmm. Great explaintion. Turns out, one of the first engines I built was for a Donk.
