Not nearly enough stars for this - a model going from the name indicating how fast it was (when 100mph meant something) to a name indicating the average age of the owners is one hell of a downfall.

Mitsubishi Eclipse.
Fuck Charlack
Once upon a time, I used to go to great lengths to avoid driving on 170, because I didn’t feel like putting up with Charlack’s bullshit
Look at how much money they could save on their municipal budget if they fired the mayor and the entire police force. They might be able to afford books for their local library or perhaps they could afford to start a library.
Camera-issued tickets are no longer valid, by the way, just so you know if you get another one.
Ferguson was just the tip of the iceberg in St. Louis County. Every municipality that was lily-white in 1955 and has a significant (or sometimes even majority) black population now does this, because the old white power structure is still in place. They behave like sundown towns even though the people they harass…
I-70 through there has been much less stressful...and faster...since they got that shit done with.
You are absolutely correct. There are 97 municipalities in St Louis county and about 6 of them need to exist.
They used to pull over workers trying to get back to work after lunch. I got nabbed one morning going to work. Court only convened one night a week, so it was easier to pay the municipality’s $96.00 ticket unfortunately.
This bullshit. I was ticketed by a cop for running a red in Normandy (was one of those late yellow, but they don’t care) and got a red light camera ticket for the same thing by Velda City cops. I actually got out of both, one for jurisdiction and the judge let me out of the other on principal after I showed both. …
Eh. Reporters are cheap. There’s a another dozen to replace this one if she dies. Why spend the extra money. /s
Missouri closed this loophole a few years ago. SB5 states:
Blue Lies Matter
Well, the Supreme Court has already decided that flashing headlights is covered by the First Amendment. I hope that can get sorted pretty quickly. Otherwise, I hope they get disincorporated and some people in power go to jail like in that speed trap town in Ohio.
The forfeitures numbers are terrifying. Imagine you are on a family vacation and some small town cop decides your car and all your stuff is now their property and you have to sue to get it back.
