So much this. I watched an interview on NBC over the weekend where a reporter was talking to a restaurant owner who complained that unemployment benefits were the reasons he couldn’t get enough employees.

That red color Mazda has been using lately is FUCKING GORGEOUS

it’s annoying how much capabilities VAG vehicles have that need to be coded in after purchase if you even know they exist.

Now, you can close all the windows on a VW from outside the vehicle just by holding the lock sensor on the driver’s door handle for 5 seconds.

‘99 Audi A6. You could turn the key and hold in one direction and all window open, opposite way they all close.  It was genius and used WAY more often than I would have ever thought.

THIS. Was the very first thing I did when I got my hands on an OBDEleven, makes getting into your car in the middle of summer far more bearable, and makes it a lot easier to roll up the windows when a passenger forgets to. Nice GSW by the way, I like your taste in wagons!

It’s time for police to start enforcing this. It’s illegal. But no one seems to ever enforce it. And it’s a big problem. Either spend the money on proper upgraded headlights or don’t change them. HID or LED bulbs in halogen projectors is not okay. I have some insanely bright aftermarket off road lights - and when I

Fords do this for closing the windows, just hold down the lock button on the keypad for a few seconds. Not sure about opening them...

What’s worse is that many people are just doing an LED bulb swap, completely ignoring the well-engineered firing patterns from the OEM reflector housing.  So now you have a bright side-firing light which reaches half as far, and you’re blinding people while reducing your overall distance visibility.

I had a 1993 Maxima with this feature. Great feature to cool off the car after a day in the sun.

DRLs. I’ve complained about this in the past too. DRLs are only on the front, but they frequently produce enough light to trick the driver into thinking the full-fledged headlights are on, especially if there is enough ambient light at your starting point.

And make all the window switches auto up/down, not just the driver’s or the front row’s

They are afraid you’ll sever kittens’ tails.

Something like VW’s monster mats. That’s literally something that if it’s not part of the package, I’ll buy on the way out the door. I got my GTI from the used division of the local dealership network, drove across town to their VW dealership when I picked up the car and grabbed the GTI monster mats. Carpet mats might

Conversely, I-70 on the east end had hundreds of black homes demolished in Baltimore and then the project was halted (for other reasons) so 70 ends at the beltway instead of going into the city.
