I’ve been a Yankees fan since the 70s and I felt bad for the Twins last night. I went to Target Field a few weeks ago and loved the experience and atmosphere. Very fan friendly with reasonably priced concessions. I kinda wanted them to win one game just to get over it and give them some additional hope for next season.

Not meant to be quippy. I was trying to work in a Winwood/Traffic song myself but I couldn’t make anything from ‘Low Spark of High Heeled Boys’.

Long way to go for that one, but well played.

TB might be retarded.

Would you feel comfortable having your family ride in this thing?

I do, and no one present should have to worry about being killed by some half-assed home brew vehicle on the way home.

Last goose to go through a windscreen had a sad outcome but his driver lived to fight another day.

...and this is why there needs to be mandatory safety inspections done on all vehicles. Some states do, but most only test for emissions if anything. Garbage like this is not safe for the road: Imagine what happens when (not if) the brakes/weld/suspension on this kluge fail and it becomes an uncontrolled missile

I left Raider fandom when I learned they signed him and Incognito. I endured the losses, the wasted draft picks, even trading away Mack and Cooper, but those two were the final straw for me. BTW I’m old enough to remember Lyle Alzado and John Matuszak, so I wasn’t exactly insisting on Boy Scout level behavior.

Maybe he shouldn’t have said “What do you thing you’re looking at, sugartits?” to the woman cop controlling traffic.

Missed opportunity to subtitle this ‘Diamond, or rust?’

I’d never test the Metal Gods by buying an English vehicle with well over 100k miles.

I love it when pitchers who have some stupid antic (especially closers) get consistently rocked. See Jonathan Papplebon a few years ago.

It’s time Joe West joins John McSherry’s crew.

That age wall hits all at once and is not in any way forgiving. It might not be the same age for everyone, but when it comes it’s not a gradual realisation.

“The ‘White Car’ is for the immediate loading and unloading of passengers only; there is no stopping in the ‘Red Car’.”

I wonder if he still has the gross lump on top of his left shoulder?

This car has aged much better than Tawney Kitaen.
