@narutogameking: I don't know where you get your information from but the 3DS has already been proven to be at most more powerful than the Wii, let alone the PSP.

I would only get it if they solve the original problems with the PSP.

The minor lagging and freezing in the homescreen is due to the fact that the UI isn't hardware accelerated.
