@Norbs: According to the interview with Matias Duarte, 3.0 is still for phones too. they only just recently showcased Honeycomb for tablets but as usual Google is staying silent on how they are actually going differentiate them.

@RRW: Anything beyond that is overkill. HD isn't suitable for such small screens, it will also kill battery life and much more processing is wasted on resolution than more important stuff like textures and polygons which is exactly what the 3DS is doing.
@Numanoid: But the thing is we don't know that. it could end up having a minor spec bumb with little dev support and 1 hr battery life.
