I love id Software, this is why they're so badass. Releasing tools to let people make their own games is the reason why we have great games today.

I was ready with to retort along the lines of, "Politics? In my gaming blog?" then I read it before commenting— a practice I picked up somewhere along the way.

It's like MMO objectives, only real, and you get paid for them.

That was so incredibly awesome! Some of the coolest Easter Eggs are the ones that fly right in front of your face, or in this case, your ears. It's made all the better by going unnoticed for such a long period of time; an Easter Egg aged like fine wine if you will ;)

I don't like politics in my tech, it's quite clear what bias of the political spectrum this is poking fun at and it seems overbearing.

So when those government officials use their fancy image enhancement software that can turn anything pixelized to a high resolution image they'll get a surprise!

Hehe, in city limits (well within them) I've seen deer, coyotes, raccoons, possums, snakes, frogs, buzzards and armadillos. I know it's Texas and all and many people think we all ride horses and carry six-shooters (and that'd all be awesome) but keep in mind San Antonio is the seventh largest city in America.

Really? I thought this was well known... then again I live in San Antonio where you can see an armadillo within the city limits (although they're not terribly common)

This summer? According to Valve Time we should get it in November:

Could it have been marketed better? The thing was hard to keep in stock at first, featured on so many shows, was the safe bet and it was cheap. It couldn't have been marketed too much better, it was very successful, I don't know what he means.

This is incredible, I must buy it once it's out.

That is EXACTLY what I came here to say... and I figured someone already did. Kudos!

I must buy.

I am very unnerved by the fact that someone can extract information of where I have been if they get ahold of my MacBook.

It's a business, whatever good they do for the business could very likely leave people as collateral. I couldn't sleep at night cutting out a person that couldn't do his job cause he had cancer but some people can. Other people have their business practices end up as a part of their personality and lash out.

Yes, they have nixed technology before. However their argument for dropping support for technology they support was that it was going to be archaic so they tried to push forward without it. We all knew floppy drives were not going to be around a lot longer, and Flash is fulfilling a need that both Apple and Google are…

Apple really doesn't have an option but to support it unless they want to lose a lot of customers.

Piracy succeeds because it is accessible and easy... I have no problem paying for a show if it's fairly priced and accessible. When it isn't it's just as easy to go torrent it.

Nobody is a vegan ;)

Roy Betts' comment is classic. Akin to the likes of tripping, falling flat on your face, then telling everyone, "I meant to do that."
