@Mancomb Seepgood: They've been optimized for multicore CPUs (any number of cores) since the Orange Box came out, do some homework.

@KotakuFreund: Not to mention he didn't go out of the way; someone asked him about it.

@DashTheHand: Personally I'd rather Valve concentrate on what they do best. Considering Newell came from Microsoft and has worked primarily on PC it's no surprise he'd dash off the PS3. The 360 has similar architecture to a PC which is why the develop for it, but a PS3 is going in the opposite direction. That's why

@solidousSNK: I wouldn't be so sure of that, Valve doesn't seem to necessarily do anything because it's popular. Were that the case they wouldn't be quite so innovate considering a lot of what they do isn't what anyone else does.

Sony is very much expected to release a console well before 2016 or 2017. PS2 has a life of ten years, that doesn't mean it's dead when the next gen hit the market. The PS2 console is still alive and selling and will probably be in production for another year before the next generation is fully considered the norm and

Looks like some horrible Deviant Art comic made into a very nicely animated albeit generic looking action RPG.

@Arsenic13: Yeah, I was guessing it was Krauser too. For one, it's obviously not somebody that we would assume to have already appeared in RE2 or CV and going solely on the appearance of his shirt (coupled with the build) I'd say it was Krauser.

For a moment I thought the picture shown was akin to the start screen on the first LoZ what with the terrain and the waterfall. Sadly it's a bit too different (and I don't mean the fact that it has more than eight colors).

Blessed San Antonio, TX is where I'm at and it's been weeks since it's been below 100°F during the day. They keep it too damn cold at work and the AC at my house is broke so I'm comfortable all of nowhere.

@Absent Blue: Oops, NM, second play per release goes to Monster Hunter =P at 772,727.

So that technically means that Devil May Cry is the most profitable franchise at approx. 909,091 per release followed by Resident Evil at 714,286. I consider it Resident Evil an admirable feat though to maintain such a high ratio after so many poorly received titles like the GameBoy one and most of it's shooters. Not

@Chroma 3000: Agreed, give the Sniper a nice single fire carbine for mid-range and I'll be all about that class... and I *never* play as Sniper.

@Derek Rumpler: The first one is only flawed in it's cut scenes. There's a lot of great gameplay and you can see all the room for expansion in an initial play through that seems like the sequel is capitalizing on as well.

@Absent Blue: But as far as Dark Void goes they had me at rocket packs, Bear McCreary's music just seals the deal.

@LittleDeadEpic! ....PK THUNDER!: It really depends but I say it's a matter of whatever best enhances the gameplay experience for you. You didn't throw on music for Dead Space and I bet you probably played it alone in the dark as well, it's much more fulfilling that way.

@someone_else: The trailer for this thing didn't look bad so much as it looked generic. It was like watching Jason Vorhees in a post-apocolyptic Prince of Persion.

Yes! I can't wait for them to retcon Silent Hill to update it with all the contrived story they've tacked on since then.

@GameTrialzDotCom: Aye, my parents attribute us playing games as kids to our problem solving skills and memory, most notably the first Zelda game.
