Sucks for him, but Activision is making a prime example out of him. Not only will they sue you, but they intend to do it in such a manner that is relative to each person. They calculate your terms of living and financially neuter you accordingly, which is somehow more threatening than being sued for $300,000 because

50% requires actual talent.

XSI is balls, LightWave FTW. Still an interesting video.

Blue Dragon was a far cry from their previous effort, but that's a hard act to top especially after almost fifteen years.

This must be part of that study where humans enjoy doing fun things.

I would like to have seen this experiment conducted but widen the age gap among two kids. Say you have two nephews who have birthdays close to each other so you're getting them a joint present. One is nine, the other 14 or 15 like they are here. That would introduce the factor of a console that has to be shared and

Treyarch isn't a bad developer, parse, but when they have to carry the flag of Infinity Ward they look very meager in comparison. There's nary a studio out there with such a great record, even if it's a short rap sheet.

They remade the MP3 player, smart phone and PC so that everyone's gobbled it up. Who's to say they can't remake the video game console? I'm inclined to think that if they did it would not be marketing anywhere towards the hardcore crowd but the suburban family Wii is currently dominating.

@ChiliC: Nice knowin' ya.

Just got my beta key for Good Old Games (gog.com), I think I might buy Shogo: Mobile Armor Division and check that out, I've heard good things.

Oh groovy! And it's free to check out so I'll probably do that (tried WoW and Conan, both got boring in a month).

Seriously? 20 million copies of one series of a game is ridiculously good, and to top it all off with Halo Wars which will undoubtedly sell 20 more only to close down? Are they just a veritable money-pit or something? Truly a sad day in gaming, I'll be following this one.

As far as I'm concerned Silent Hill just wasn't worth it after the second one anyway. I'm hoping this one is decent, I've seen a couple of videos and they don't look half bad. But I'm wondering about those nurses— are *zombie* nurses being sexed up because video game/comic book artist can't resist sexing up anything

Makes good points, too bad I was never big on buying used games anyway. I only shop there for new stuff cause it's closer and faster than going to Wal-Mart/Target/Best Buy/K-Mart/whatever

@salmonax: In the industry (of movies and video games) they like to call that a "teaser", because it "teases" you about what's to be expected. More or less basically saying that there is something, and there will be something more, but nothing to show for now.

w00t goes CG from 1990 and graphics from 1999.

Very cool and they're not bad looking either. If they work well I think I might have to get a pair, after all, I have lots of work to do in front of the computer and of course it's where I do the majority of my gaming.

I wonder when Square's friendly takeover of the Japanese government will take place.

1. These gamers are stupid and didn't check system requirements or they possibly have a problem of their own that they can't solve that could very well affect numerous games. OR the game does work, but not as well as they had hoped. Regardless, how do you prove it doesn't work and then get a refund? How do you know

That'd probably be neat, better than the first "RE-make" as RE2 had already set the wildly different tone from the first game that would be carried on throughout the series. Less of an eerie Romero type of game and more like a Michael Bay sort of zombie series.
