I think you're also overestimating the price of the chargers. I did something similar to this with my S3 using the Palm Touchstones, and I was able to find them for $4 (or was it $5?) each. So I bought 5.

I love older games as much as the last guy, but when's the last time you broke out the NES and played a 20-year-old game? By that point, it'll all be emulated anyway, no?
