The Sisko Gets Angry

Yeah, the boys said at the end of last week’s episode that this week’s ep was going to be back to covering games that aren’t Destiny. Still, going to listen though because Splitscreen is the best gaming podcast out there, and I look forward to listening to it every Thursday, regardless of the topic.

Well, that’s a bummer. Maybe you can kick your landlord an extra $10 a month for it? It’s well worth it. I even talked my 62 year old Dad into getting one, and now he records all the shows he watches so he can fast forward through all the commercials. The old man even says he couldn’t imagine living without one now!

This is why the DVR is one of mankind’s greatest inventions. Even if I’m home when the game starts, and I have the time to watch the entire thing, I still record it and start it an hour to an hour and a half after the start of the game so I can fast forward through all the fucking commercials. Hockey isn’t too bad

Is Naruto worth watching past the initial fight between Naruto & Sasuke? I loved the series until then, but after that, it seemed the animation quality went down, so I assumed the story would as well(I tried the first 10 episodes afterwards, it wasn’t the same). I’d would love to get back into it, but I don’t know if

I wish I had this point of view. I love the shit out of mayonnaise.

It was the inventory/crafting system that was the game-breaker for me.

I got exposed to Heiro around the mid-90's through skate videos. Such an underrated crew. It was all about Pharcyde and Heiro on the West Coast, and Wu-Tang on the East Coast.

My game started crashing on SM05, “Dig Up Dirt In The CEO’s Office”(trying to keep Samizdat from exposing TF29). After I finish the conversation and head back into town, the mission automatically crashes. I tried to make it through that section for 4 days straight, and it never stopped crashing. Amazon is sending me a

I’ve been meaning to pick this album up. Thanks for the reminder!

There’s actually a chance for us to get “Vanquish 2"?! Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, please let this come to pass.

Hope you enjoy them!

Damn, there’s just so many Van albums, some just get lost in the shuffle. I’ve never even heard of Common One. I’ll be checking that out for sure. If you like Poetics, check out the album that was released a year before it, No Guru, No Method, No Teacher. I don’t like it as much as Poetics, but it’s pretty damn

Funny, it seems to me that the only Van albums most people listen to/have heard of is either this album or Moondance. A couple of years back, during Thanksgiving, we had some Van on the stereo while having a couple of drinks before the big dinner, when my aunt asked me, “Have you ever heard Poetics Champions Compose?

Nice! Thanks for the links. I’ll be sure to check them out.

I’ve never listened to any Sugarcubes or Bjork, but I really liked this(kind of gave off a Echo and the Bunnymen vibe to me). Any recommendations on where to start?

Man, I finally beat The Witcher 3 this past weekend and my ending sucked. No love from any of the ladies(my heart belongs to you Triss). It just said Geralt spent the rest of his days wondering the land. Major letdown.

I downloaded NBA 2K16 last month(free with PS Plus), but haven’t tried it out yet. I’ve read that if you haven’t played a NBA 2K game in years(about 10 for me), it can be completely overwhelming and doesn’t give you good directions on how to get started. They just throw you out in the deep end. Is this true? I’d love

If you enjoyed ALTTP, you’ll love A Link Between Worlds. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is my favorite game, so I loved being back in that world again. It’s a true worthy successor.

I really love the 3DS as a gaming platform, but it seems that 90% of the games they release are RPG’s. As someone who’s not a huge fan of that genre, my 3DS just sits in a closet, rarely used. I really wish they’d branch out more when it came to different types of gameplay. Maybe it’s just me, but I got a lot more out

I don’t know why this isn’t advertised, since it’s one of the most talked about and highest rated games from the past few years, but Amazon has Bloodborne on sale for $20. I’m sure your readers would love to know about that one.
