I chose to review it because, as I said in the second paragraph, I was hoping that Takahashi and crew would make something I enjoyed more this time around.

I respect his honesty and the fact that he dontated his salary to charity. I do think he should have just declined the role outright if he doesn’t like Woody Allen, but to his credit he did explain the thought process.

People have been asking “how could someone work with Woody Allen, knowing what they know” for years. Someone who’s actually done so relayed his thoughts on it, particularly because one of the big discussions of the moment is why the film industry so readily turns a blind eye to abuse. There’s worth there.

I don’t know if Woody Allen had inappropriate sexual contact with that particular daughter. I do know he’s done some really shady stuff, at the very least, and I don’t watch his new movies anymore. Being a hypocrite, I’d still watch Sleepers or Bananas or Crimes and Misdemeanors, which I can’t rationally justify…

I don’t usually write comments just straight critical of the article, but this is pretty brutal. You basically just summarized somebody else’s opinion piece. You could have just put a link to TPG’s site and been done with it. Even then, it should have come with a disclaimer that TPG is not exactly an unbiased…

I don’t know any teachers who use Google to check sources. They all run papers through Turnitin, Viper, VeriCite, or Unplag as a matter of district policy. I can’t even comprehend how much more work that process was before the Web!
