“At close to the speed of light”

Just listened to part of their cover of “I can’t go for that”. It was decent, definitely not as good as the original to me, but a good rendition. Also listened to Maneater cover and same thought, but way better than the grace mitchell version I listened to.

I have no idea who grace mitchell is, but if anyone thinks that version is better than Hall and Oates, fucking YIKES. I couldn’t listen to it for more than 10 seconds.

Nah, your phone already does it's job better.

#troof

but the agency is refusing to deliver $42 million of new sand to Pinellas County

How “strong” tungsten is, is completely irrelevant. I’m sure 45 pounds of anything dropped from that height onto that roof would’ve done the same thing.

I’m inclined to agree with this take. Lag at a standstill seems like a complete non-issue to me, and it seems logical that that lag wouldn’t be present if the vehicle was actually moving.

The internet was a mistake.

Perhaps not surprisingly, I agree with Abradolph Lincler

I had forgotten that she directed My First Mister. She got really great performances out of both Albert Brooks and Leelee Sobieski in that.

WILL! Great to see your work :)

I had read an interview with Michael Emerson where he lamented that after a long career he finally had a kissing scene on Person of Interest, and it was with his real-life wife Carrie Preston. So I was weirdly happy for him that he got to do that messed up but hot scene with Christine Lahti

She is incredible in Evil. Every scene she is in is either hilarious or completely messed up and mildly tragic. You absolutely root for her though.

It’s not like Lahti is bereft of worthy credits, but I confess I skimmed to make sure Housekeeping was on the list.

I’ll allow it.

Please tell me you’re not suggesting Daniels should have had Porthos stuffed and put on his shelf of souvenirs.

Less of the Enterprise bashing , its 3rd and 4th seasons were really good damn it , I’d actually rank it just over Voyager (which when it was good , was great , but had sooo many dud episodes).

Just give us a frakking temporal cold war show with Wesley, Gary Seven, Daniels and Kore Soong running around in a mission impossible style series of Long Treks where they visit periods of time previously unexplored. Harriman’s Enterprise-B Tomed incident, Sulu’s Excelsior, Enterprise-C, Worf on the Enterprise-E,

So to conclude, Star Trek Discovery was a bad show that never achieved its potential because of consistently terrible writing, incoherent plotting and weak characterization. It never really got better it just ran along the bottom going from mediocre to outright terrible, A real dud of a show that is pretty inessential
