If putting her on for a few minutes gets Trump angry enough for his heart to get a little closer to The Big One, then it’s fine.

There are more answers than just “you search for more than you think you do” to explain eerie ad appearances. I expect people will also reject these explanations, even though there’s never been even a single instance of a substantiated claim of “listening” advertising:

Once the autocross season starts back up, I’ll write about it some.

Oh yeah and this is the same way, it’s just my personal preference.

Saw him perform a little over a year ago and he sounded utterly fantastic. He’s obviously taken care of his voice and in no way came off like someone mailing in a cash-grab tour. I was honestly surprised just given his age that he was so smooth and could still hit the notes.

So many ballads sound like they’re paced that way because the artist couldn’t find something more compelling. But Joel’s to me always sounded every bit as urgent as his up-tempo songs, like he’s saying exactly what he wants to say in exactly this way.

For the longest time I really didn’t like Billy Joel. It seemed like he was played every hour on the AOR radio stations I listened to. It was just too much.

I’ve sat in a 500 Abarth, but I think my 8,000 RPM 2.4-liter swap Neon ACR fills that FWD maniac slot in my garage.

It contained multitudes!

Whoa, a thoughtful persuasive piece on the new AV Club? I thought these days were gone.

“At that moment, we only wanted freedom,” wrote one retired teacher among the trapped in a letter to the editor published by Globo. “We didn’t know how to proceed. It was like we were orphans there. Look, what drama, right? We were without action, desperate.”

Tough but fair. There’s eight (?) people on that stage, and only one of the other TH sings. Byrne’s voice is the most distinctive element of the performance by far.

This makes me wonder if the other 3 heads weren’t already obsolete at this point, at least performance-wise.

The Paramore cover is just a karaoke version of the original.

The more of the stories about this kind of thing come out, the more I’m convinced that there’s more than just a professional dislike between them - I get the feeling it’s a matter of a complete rejection of ever working with Byrne again at that level based on their past issues.

I haven’t listened to podcasts in years and I can still hear Marc Maron’s voice talking about how much he loves MeUndies.

If you haven’t worked in a year, not because you can’t, but because you “turned a lot of things down,” then you don’t get job benefits.  This is not evidence that we’re living in a dystopia.

I don’t really listen to podcasts, but I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say that podcasts probably make money from advertising.

No one with a byline here gives a fuck about anything like that.
