Only if Judy Greer gets to play Carol/Cheryl in life action.

You’re very right about it being a deconstruction, but none of that is why the last two seasons were so bad (not just received poorly—they were bad). I don’t know how often I and so many others can reiterate this: It’s not what happened that pissed me off, it’s that it wasn’t earned.

I remember Teen Titans Go! getting a lot of flack for replacing the version before it, but it really is pretty funny. I’d even rank their movie as the 3rd best superhero film of 2018.

I really hope it isn’t something stupid about politics. Six million people live here. ~95% of us don’t work for the federal government.

I still haven’t watched Rick and Morty because I don’t know what’s going on with their eyeballs, and it freaks me out. Apparently the show is amazing, tho.

Oddly enough, I think it was the influence of experimental Eastern European and British animators. Klasky Csupo, highly influenced by this stuff, were pioneers of innovative, edgy “non-Disney” animation styles in the late 80s early 90s animation boom (Rugrats, Early Simpsons, Duckman). They and their contemporaries est

I think the flash animation is the biggest reason cartoons look like this. I don’t know if they actually use Flash anymore, but you can tell that a lot of the animation is actually interpolation from a computer. Everything stays the same size and shape no matter what.

The Simpsons, South Park and Family Guy, but let’s not forget the influence of early 00s Flash animantion.

“We’re proud to announce our newly named team ... The Washington Lady As!”

And “Bob’s Burgers” *really* grew into its animation style over the years, but they had a very carefully considered voice cast from episode one, plus decades of ensemble talent.

This one looks more like a time-slot viewing quota filler assembled by manatees from various ideas laying around the studio. An animated “Star

Yeah I can sympathize with disliking Family Guy’s animation style and character designs, though my dislike may further derive from hating the show altogether.

I swear this was Final Space.

I thought ‘The Simpsons’ animation style was fairly inoffensive; not necessarily beautiful, but okay to look at. And ‘Steven Universe’ has a very pleasant aesthetic, even if some of the characters are drawn to be sort of unattractive. (Greg’s no oil painting.)

I thought that was clever.

That’s cute, clever, and fucking dope, and I’m not even a young people.

That’s hilarious how they sent out promotional materials shaped like a Save icon.

Precisely. It’s the same exact group of people who moan that the people in the big cities are the ones determining every single effing thing for the rest of their state, and how unfair it is that their voices aren’t being heard. Dude, you’re the tyranny of the minority - which is demonstrably worse than the tyranny of

And Trump and the GOP would have repealed it just like the ACA. The Senate itself isn’t the problem. The problem is the lack of a filibuster, Citizen’s United, gerrymandering, people who aren’t voting, cable news, twitter, the Federalist Society, the NRA, and any number of other things that have contributed to the

Oh boy.

No! No, the Granthams never figured out that Thomas and O'Brien were both poisonous assholes who should've been fired immediately. This is because they are, as you point out, dumber than shit.
