I just want to mention how much I appreciate long form articles like this.  This is what I came to AV Club for… that, and reviews of *good* shows, not reality TV or re-retweets.

I have a feeling Paramount isn’t renewing anything until after the sale.  So I’m holding out hope there could be more later.

Personally, I prefer TV series with decent budgets for adaptations of novel series.  I don’t think The Expanse would have held up well with each book cut down to a 2-3 hour movie.

Those can be very hard to get.  Frankly even cabins and hotels are like that.  The problem is that when you plan that far in advance, things like this can happen.  The airlines won’t refund you for this if you’re flying in.
