You’re joking right?
That looks cool!

Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator?

This is one of those rare cases where a headline sounds like clickbait but is, in fact, an understatement. Weirdly, the show is so good that attempts to describe it to others inevitably sound like hyperbole.

It reminds me a lot of Dishonoured, but with much higher fidelity.

As a huge Dota fan I was really goddamned impressed with Arcane, definitely the better of the two MOBA shows. I don’t know much about LoL’s lore but the story so far has been really easy to follow and surprisingly emotional. It’s also really fucking pretty!

Between this, Dickinson, and Hawkeye, I think Hailee Steinfeld is trying to take over the streaming world on every service, and I'm Ok with that

Pretty sure he is referring to Game of Thrones.

Not only all that, they nail all the little details. They make the world feel lived in, like there’s history there. And they do it so consistently, even the things that aren’t super important. Between episodes, between arcs, they pay attention to all those little things which is just amazing honestly.

That fight was just... so good. So well directed and kinetic and the sound direction for it was fantastic.

Yeah, I never got into LoL despite many attempts by friends to drag me into that cesspool, but I always found the characters interesting at least.

This show is fantastic. Never played LoL, but have had a small passing interest in some of their shorter lore clips in the past (brought on by liking that Warriors song in Sweet Home).
But wow, this show. The animation and scenes are fantastic and so is the VA, some of the best I’ve heard in Western animation, every

Early on (maybe they still do?) there were attempts to try to tie in the regular League of Legends game and its “summoners” (the player who controls the character) into the lore of the world. For all the nice worldbuilding and characters they had though, the angle of the summoners and how they tried to actually

honeslty, i have always felt the worst thing about league of legends is the game. its got solid character design, and some intriguing world building, now lets play death soccer with people too toxic for parler, where all the interesting backstories mean bugger-all. so the fact that they are movign to media that allow

I think what I like the most, is that I don’t recognize many of the voices from other anime. The cast is varied and pretty large. It’s always the same group of people in these things, and in general pretty bad (IMO).

The show is ridiculously good. I’m.not a MOBA fan and I never played League of Legends, so I had no interest in this. I happened to see a trailer online and the animation and tone caught my attention so I thought I’d give it a shot. Now I don’t want it to end. I hope they decide to do another season/series and keep up

I mean, there’s a lot to hate. They’re objectively poorly made, and R* removed the ability to buy the original games to replace them with this trash.

Rebecca Ferguson is good in so much stuff (I especially liked her as Rose the Hat in Doctor Sleep). Glad to hear that she shines in this as well.

There is such a thing as subtlety. The story makes you want to call out the white guy who sets himself up as the Messiah of the religious natives in order to get a revenge on his enemies and claim the ultimate authority in the universe for himself? Not a coincidence or an accident, you’re supposed to be bothered by

I mean, the first book still made it clear that the savior myth was cynically planted by missionaries to suit their own purposes, and that the “savior” himself knew this when he cynically exploited it to gain support for his mission of vengeance, but sure.

There is no director’s cut of the 1984 movie. There’s an anti-director’s cut that Lynch had nothing to do with and objected so strongly to that he had his name removed from the credits.
