Honestly, ya. Every Texan just went with a Rivian/Ford. This thing looks like a DIY camper

Im in Texas, one of the largest truck markets. Texans won’t buy this. Not when ford has better looking trucks coming out with similar specs.
I think this article does a great job of re-iterating what many assumed...this is a paid beta and, like all things tech, an iterative process. In a few years, assuming its still around, there will be games and improved infrastructure that will make it more viable, but at present, the competition is healthy and the…
It’s a fairly inconsequential number in the big scheme of things for a streamer like Ninja. People use statistics like a drunk uses a lamp post; for support rather than illumination.
Hes saying it's a soft launch at best and a beta at worst. Read between the lines.
Vote with your wallet. I deleted my Blizzard account after 20 years. Democratic values supercede a good game.
Blizzard has the right because it gave itself that right in it’s competition rules. But don’t confuse having the right with that action being RIGHT versus WRONG.
its a case of, “I have the money to mess with him and I will.” Bartomeu is smart enough to know it wouldn’t go anywhere, but it wasn’t going to stop him from taking AuronPlay’s time.
well said. watch Dark Phoenix at home last night. I wonder if Kevin Feige watched it and said, "Well, now we know all the things NOT to do with the X-Men."
Unfortunately, many passengers are frugal. I’ve a 4.99 rating, 3k+ rides. By all accounts, a good driver, but 50% of my passengers don’t tip (the worst tipping passengers are finance guys and young white women). Short trips Im driving at cost. My profit margin is 20% year over year, but rather than a business that…
If “ifs” & “buts” were candy and nuts, we’d all have a Merry F**king Christmas. Uber and Lyft rely on a desperate driver base. Businesses will not self regulate appropriately on their own. It is a failure of the California legislature to set a price floor. AB5 isn’t the answer, but since when does California govmt…
I drove Uber Fall 2013 when it launched in Los Angeles. It paid 3.25/mile and $0.025/minute. Current rates are $0.89/mile and $0.11/minute. I enjoyed it as a part time gig until the rates were untenable. Cars could only be a few years old then. Now they can be up to 12 years old. You’re making a sweeping…
Uber X drivers do not make $30/hr. Maybe higher tier drivers in demand markets. Typical Uber X hourly rate is $15 gross income. After self employment tax and cost that’s about $8/hr. 6 years part time, 3k+ trips, top rated driver here. I squeeze my market as best I can and top out at $22/hr gross, $12/hr net income.…
He was pretty humble about it. He said something to the effect of, “I know how this looks. I drive a Honda. I don’t know why they put me in these hotels.”
Im an Uber driver. I've picked up Uber staff while visiting Houston from the nicest hotel in town, the St. Regis. He worked as a lobbyist as I recall. It's safe to say Uber is detached from reality.
Google does the same thing with phone recordings if you enable "Ok Google." It's no surprise you're fed ads from what consumers believe are private conversations. The United States sucks at legislating privacy. The EU will create meaningful legislation.
Safe to say that Richard “Dick” Cream didn’t get hired at The Onion, but is still doing his best
If you have a Medicaid card you get a 50% discount. Also, student price is significantly less. We’d sign up for a full load at a junior college, get the proof of enrollment/.edu email, sign up for a student annual ski pass, then get the 100% refund from the school. Made more sense for a $6-700 ski pass, but there’s…

Great article!
