He actually looks like a huge dork-ass 48 year old man attending his 90s theme high school reunion but hey -- cool is subjective.

This. Beard Ryu should honestly be default Ryu.
I dunno. He kinda looks like a Streets of Rage extra to me in that getup, and he’s not at cool as 2015's more rugged and unapologetically manly Ryu:
I’ve narrowed down the main problem with this movie: Cole Young
The games are backwards compatible, so importing Hitman 1 levels to Hitman 2's SKU, or importing Hitman 1 and 2 levels to Hitman 3's SKU, basically lets you play those levels with the latest QoL improvements, UI, and mechanics, though mechanics-wise they don’t see much change across three games. It’s a single cohesive…
Hitman 2 remains one of the funniest AAA games I’ve played in the past decade. The whole series is comedic (the whole Constant bit is so over-the-top hokey), but H2 really leans into it in a way the other ones don’t (and H3 kinda disappointingly pulls back from imo). Also, the New York level might be my favorite one…
A concept car should be absolutely ridiculous, and this nails that fact. Are the stats and technology real, practical or even legal? No, but who cares: Again, it’s a concept car.
It’s because Hitman 2016 was a commercial disappointment to Square Enix so they pulled their funding and tried to sell the studio. IO’s management bought them out but basically had to cut the studio to the bone in the process and a cinematic team isn’t really a vital requirement for the sort of game Hitman is.
I got my Demon’s Souls Remake, a superior Miles Morales experience at 60fps, and a surprising little gem in Astros. And afaik, Returnal and R&C are still on schedule. That’s enough to negate any disappointment.
Deathloop, a Microsoft first party game, is a tent pole game for the PS5, and MLB The Show, a Sony first party game, is a tent pole game for Game Pass.
For me the upgrade to a PS5 now was that my OG PS4 was way too long in the tooth at this point and I never did the “pro” model upgrade. I delayed playing many exclusive games over this as I didn’t want an experience I would have personally found subpar.
Probably for the best. The game looks really cool, so I think the more time they take to make it good is fine with me.
Because even if Nintendo puts out a C&D, as long as they only found out about it late into the cycle, the game will forever exist on the internet. Some people do these projects as a way of testing themselves.
I think a) passion and b) it’s a lot harder to get an original project noticed. Kotaku doesn’t (usually) cover demos for random Metroidvanias, but they’ll cover this and you’ll get a few viral tweets, too. Means people see your work. You also get to skip a few design steps.
Because this was written as the ghostbuster’s theme, and Ray Parker Jr’s was just supposed to be an 80's pop tie-in. For perspective, think of “Back in Time” by Huey Lewis vs. the actual Back to the Future theme.
Call it a leitmotif, then. That’s the music that actually plays throughout the movie.
Which leads to this
Yep I was just about to post this. Lewis did sue Ray Parker and they settled out of court.
This sort of thing seems to happen when the Ghostbusters are involved.
Except this time, it’s the Ghostbusters being ripped...
Having driven both I can tell you dynamically they feel different. However if you’re sitting in a Supra, it definitely feels like you’re inside a BMW.
