If the comics characters had enough of a distinct look and personalities so that I could actually tell them apart, I could learn to care about them.

I thought Negan was the best character Kirkman came up with. He has a distinct look and personality, and his dialogue I find quite entertaining. I have a hard time telling most of the other characters apart, they all tend to look and sound the same.

I think he stated as much in the past, that it would end at 200.

That would violate Kirkman's rule that the plot move in endless circles covering the same handful of scenarios over and over ad nauseum. So no.

Yeah, my parents are boomers and I remember in the 70s when I was a kid the cool hipster thing for them was to go out to ethnic restaurants with their friends, when ethnic restaurants were still something of a novelty. And my mother was always buying goofball shit from the natural foods store for us to try.
