I mean. . .he sort of made this joke publicly during an interview where the journalist mentioned fisher’s plans to publish her diary and he sort of laughed and said “do I need a lawyer ? “ it is actually pretty common to have a lawyer look over a memoir where you are named.

In an excerpt from The Guardian she says she gave him a copy, said she would accept any notes, never heard anything back, and as of then had no idea if he even read it. My theory is he doesn’t give a shit (and why should he) and the “lawyer” was a joke.

I was happy she clarified things in The Guardian to be honest. Much as I found myself (for some reason) defending them, the original “leak” made him look kind of bad. Now neither look bad but neither look great and I’m just like meh he can still get it no regrets.

I mean, one might argue that what Donald said back in 2005 shouldn’t be relevant bc it was so long ago, to me it’s not so much about how long ago but about the fact that THIS was all they could find on the dude? Really? Bc if that’s the case... he’s one of the good ones.

I can’t find the indignation either. Is no one allowed a trajectory of development anymore? In which they learn, grow, mature and develop increased sociopolitical awareness?

It’s just kind of gross to suggest that a group of drunk women are good pickings for sex.
