So I'd like to give a shout out to all the bag handlers I have personally watched lift and SLAM bags onto the cart and/or loading belt. It would appear they delight in this, as the energy they put into it is inversely related to their speed in getting the damn bags to the pickup chute. Don't they realize we can SEE

Well, it seems properly overloaded now, thanksverymuch.

On an unrelated note, whenever I see a screen cap from a Fox station, especially when it's channel 2, I can only think of Randy Quaid in Independence Day when the missile jammed "Fox 2!"

Hate to break it to you, but ACVW people are actually not that nice. You want to be brutally picked apart and told in 37 ways how big an idiot you are? Post a newbie question on The Samba in say, the Split Bus or Barndoor forum and watch the pile on build.

The Isuzu Trooper II was a great SUV that actually sport utility vehicled. As long as it didn't eat its valves, it got good mileage; had a bare but comfortable, functional interior; could haul anything in its cracker box cargo area.

What's with the shock and awe? Everything Sergio said is self evident. Are you really going to blame him for telling the truth?

2 possible entries that come to my mind:

The Type 34 Owner's Group always gets together at the VW Classic in Irvine. Dunno about this year, as the Classic is having some scheduling issues, but that's the place to see at least a dozen or so.

What part of "entirely new dealer network" did you not understand? Alfa and Maserati can do this; Chrysler can not.

I'm sure I can't afford t. Plus, I have a Lancia now.

So many Chrysler fanboys gnash their teeth and wail "WHY NOT IMPERIAL?" without grasping the fact that Chrysler can't successfully resurrect Imperial without an entirely new dealer network. Besides the fact that luxury today requires performance, it also means exclusivity and a great experience with every service.

It took me 7 years to find one, almost a year to get it drivable again, but only drove it for 2 more years before selling it. I don't regret selling it as much as I should; their value is skyrocketing lately. I just didn't want to be the guy who was in a wreck with it because replacement sheetmetal is unobtainium.

Back when I had a Type 34 Karmann Ghia, I desperately wanted one of those bizarre auto-coffee makers that ran off the cigarette lighter. It just astounded me that an era where no cars had cup holder but vast estates of ashtray would also produce a device that boiled water with no safe place to actually put the

Look, if they can fix the incredibly stupid flow problems there, I don't care what it takes for it to happen - they just need to do it.

I'm very confused by the apparent lack of the D-RWD platform being used for Dodge. Sergio had said many times they couldn't afford it unless the platform could be used elsewhere, and the "muscle" retooling of Dodge seems to fit, along with the "mainstreaming" of the Chrysler brand.

As a Lancia owner, I'm sad to see how the marque has been left to quietly fade. At one time, I had hoped the Chrysler/Lancia pairing could be a great thing, as both had a (long ago) history of great engineering and automotive firsts. Too bad it was rushed into existence with little thought on how it should be done.

Just remove "chopper" from the headline and I'd swear you've spent time at The Hole in San Diego, near MCRD.

You are entirely correct. Whataburger is clearly superior to In N Out for many reasons, not least of which is GRAVY.
