The premise of Westworld, the theme park, is simple: what if we had a place where we could expose our worst selves, and to fall in love and fuck and kill without worrying about the suffering or autonomy of the objects of our love and rage

It’s not a single issue, it’s merely the most prominent one that comes to many people’s minds. Pence is bad on nearly all civil rights, but also on the economy. Pence managed to start an AIDS epidemic in his own state because he hates women so much and also wants to cut taxes for his buddies. Jez commenters will

My favorite Tweet of the year has a similar flavour:

Sorry Pence, this campaign is in it’s 14th month. Too late to abort now.

It’s her own fault for skipping that ‘how to behave in a way that satisfies random internet commenters after being unexpectedly charged with a serious crime’ seminar that time. Silly girl.

What a bunch of PC whiners. She’s just telling it like it is.

Maybe she regrets saying only half when in fact she meant all?

Ok, I am admittedly really really really bad at this, but I need a ruling. Her follow-up (the full one, not what’s written above) is shade, no?

I thought Kirsten’s comment was sarcastic. Everyone knows John Lennon was a ginormous asshole.

This kinda feels like this crossing the line. What the woman did was wrong, ironic, kinda funny, but she didn’t harm anyone, and I thought her getting fired in the first place was too much.

That’s a good point and fair.

Ummm, no. Amy stuck up for this absolute piece of shit for 3 full years. He’s been attacking women and feminists on Twitter and their blogs since 2013 (seriously, entire articles are out there on what an unhinged psycho this asshole is). He’s verbally violent and has admitted to hitting his ex-girlfriend. Add that to

Can we not forget that when women cape for rapists or apologists, that not only makes it worse for victims but sends a message that those victims shouldn’t be listened to since this woman is saying those guys are “alright”?

Well, it’s not. So... fuck off? (Also, the six year old. Are you a sociopath?)

I object to these being classified as “prolife policies” because the people who identify as prochoice are the ones pushing them in the overwhelming majority of cases. Yeah, you want to reduce the need for elective abortions? Neat, get the fuck on board with what we’ve already been doing. Feel free to drop your shaming

Per your last paragraph: I thought my comment made it clear that I agree? So...

Democrats can still be misogynists. Being anti-choice is misogynistic. I don’t give a fuck about someone’s unscientific opinion.

Because not only do I not want to raise a child, I don’t want to be pregnant and I don’t want to give birth. It really is that simple.

In all sincerity, I think we should have both. Abortion on demand, for any reason (because it’s my body, my decision) BUT ALSO all of the “pro-life” policies these guys are talking about, like paid parental leave, affordable quality child care, equal pay, etc. so that women don’t feel like they have to get an abortion

Yeah, we can’t compromise with these people. It’s just taking a step backwards for women’s rights. Just because they aren’t as horrible as pro-life republicans doesn’t mean that they should in any way be dictating the party’s platform.
