I agree with most of what you’re saying, but one thing....funding from the government. let private investors take the risk and develop it right. Once it’s figured out, then let the government build it to scale. Backwards from how it usually happens. But yeah, like most great ideas, at this point it’s just another pipe

This idea, as far fetched as it seems at first, may just leapfrog right past trains, planes and automobiles to the main form of long distance transportation across the continent and beyond. The more I think about it, the more it truly makes sense as an economical high speed solution for (at first) getting around the

Faker even. That pic was too funny. It may as well’ve had 13 dollar bills coming out of its aft end for thrust.

Very sad. I don’t tear up much, but I am now. Very, very sad.

I still can’t believe the Raptor production line got shut down long ago...

Collin, I think this happens nearly every summer when there’s a ton of air shows going on all over the world. I’m all for safety, but at what cost? The issue these days is everyone, everywhere has a smartphone in their hand recording video that goes straight to the web. The graphic nature of these crashes is

Ahh, yes, love me some C70....such a pretty car.

XB-70 possibly even more impressive than the SR-71...Mach 3+ with enormous range and payload. And just look at it!

Nicely done.

I’m right there with you. It’s one of my top five all time favorites for sure. It should’ve won. A better performer almost all around with better stealth. Couple the supposed naval version of the F22 with a lot of, ahem, “lobbying” by Lockheed and there you go. Gone. Anyway, I love the YF-23, always have and always

Some “cranked arrow” goodness. Love the XL...

Andrew, I have to ever so slightly disagree with you. The Diavel might not be a “pure performance” machine, but it was, and still is one of the fastest accelerating motorcycles ever made. It’s an extremely fast motorcycle...at least in a straight line. One more thing, this is like Ducati’s SUV...their Cayenne. Oh

This is good news for us Volvo fans. I’m really pulling for them to pick up steam and get the ship righted. I think Volvo’s marketing has been part of the problem with their sales doldrums, and the fact that the lineup’s been in transition for a few years. I think Volvo really needs to focus their message on the fact

Maybe a forced induction 12....the 6.5 they’ve got is already stout at 750 hp, they could say, twin charge it and go well above a thousand to the wheels. Make it ultra light with active aero, and you’ve got something that can keep up or even surpass the big three...

Did it look like this?

I hate to be sac religious here in Jalopland, but Mazda needs a hi-po version of the Miata like this....yank the power steering, pull any sound deadening you can and further lighten it up and then go for the boost...maybe even drop the 2.5 in it and turbo that. Yeah, yeah, I get that the ND is sublime as is, but this

Hey, maybe an Audi that won’t understeer (as much) is on the way...!...?

Agreed...it’d be pretty easy to come up with a top 25. And it’s a damn shame that AJ isn’t in the top 10. Can you imagine going to Gilley’s back in its heyday with Foyt?

I think I remember reading that the latest model S can hit 1,500 amps....that, is a LOT of amps.

There seems to be a lot of resistance to this comment.
