Thank you for posting this. It makes me understand this situation better. It does sound like this was a very racially charged trial, but I can not say that I am hoping for a different outcome. I honestly don’t think it’s too harsh a sentence... as someone said above, HIV will be around in someone’s body for a lot longer than 30 years, if it doesn’t kill them first.
