I dunno.. 2 GB of RAM sounds too little. I have a MB with originally 2 GB, and it got horribly slow at times. Just about a month ago I upgraded to 4 GB and it feels awesome.

@Norbs: Agreed. He may have lost his job (and I'm sorry for that), but remaining silent is just wrong.
